"Dream Wedding" - Anthology Selected Piece
This piece was my first attempt at writing creative non-fiction. A genre I was unfamiliar with, yet felt overwhelmingly attached to. I wrote this piece a month after my grandfather passed. Three months later I learned it was selected to be a part of a student Anthology.
Usability Test
This was the tester version of my usability test working for The Navy Exchange to help improve the user experience of their website.
Trip To Nowhere
This writing sample is a purposefully verbose and experimental piece, designed as the opening to a short story about friendship. It serves as an exploration of my comfort with grandiose vocabulary and elaborate prose. While it may demonstrate a lack of refinement, it marks a crucial step in my growth as a writer, offering insights into my evolving understanding of narrative complexity and language use.
Giandoni Application - History and Storytelling
This application was for the Giandoni Scholarship to Study Abroad, specifically for a faculty-led travel-writing program in England. I believe it to showcase not only my writing skills, but also my withstanding passion for history, writing, and the art of storytelling. Although the program was eventually canceled, my application helped me secure the scholarship. Undeterred, I later ventured to England independently.
