Interests
While not a chosen major, journalism and writing in general have consumed much of my free time. The rest is spent reading, playing soccer, throwing some clay, dancing, learning Français and í•œêµ, hanging with my friends, watching TV, and figuring out where I want to travel next.

It was my middle school French teacher, Monsieur Neumann, who told us that if we ever wanted to travel, do it while we're in in school while it is the cheapest and easiest. Safe to say I took that and I ran with it. So far I've gone to Canada, Costa Rica, Belize, France, Mexico, South Africa, Jamaica, Japan, South Korea, The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, England, Belgium, The Netherlands, and so much more! Four of these trips were funded by or organized through the school. Each trip gives me a further appreciation of the world and each time I've brought back some lessons I will hold with me forever. Merci, Monsieur Neumann!
