Outside the
8.5x11
Don't be fooled by the monotonous conformity of my black-and-white resume. Squeezing my entire existence into one page of carefully constructed bullet points is less than ideal. On that same note, don't mistake this relatively colorful personal website as a demonstration of unprofessionalism or immaturity. This is a more creative and less formal platform, but you've already seen me on paper. Now, it's time to see outside the 8.5x11.

One could argue (and have) that choosing to pursue three not particularly cohesive majors is a clear demonstration of indecisiveness and a truly massive waste of time. However, each of these majors (History, IT, and Marketing) has allowed me to hone a plethora of specific skills that conglomerate into one unique candidate. While my current focus has shifted away from history, my aspirations remain unconfined.
I hope to pursue a career in marketing (preferably in tech-related industries) as I continue to develop the relevant skills in my marketing and IT degree. Apart from tech, I'd appreciate an opportunity for marketing in all industries, particularly brand marketing or marketing analytics/ research (my concentration).

My writing intensive History courses coupled with my four-year participation in Her Campus, (from a member to a culture editor to the managing editor) reawakened my love for writing. The importance of storytelling trancends disciplines, from marketing to history to journalism, I hope to pursue an editorial/writing-adjacent career where I am able to put my writing skills to the test.

While I continue to hone my IT skills and gain more certifications and knowledge, I hope to pursue an entry-level IT position that adds experience to complement my degree.

Skills only mean so much without something to show for them.
Through internships and coursework, I've had the opportunity to work with real companies and businesses to demonstrate these skills. Moreso, with my positions as managing editor of Her Campus and Vice President of Marketing of Pi Sigma Epsilon, I've further honed said skills.
